I am interested in the ways in which law shapes and reflects the world in which we live.  My recent research focuses on the regulation of cyberbullying, and the First Amendment implications of public monuments.  

My creative work explores individual identity vs. shared humanity, meaning/speech in flux, language and expression, collective memory, and the boldness of sincerity.
